On May 20, 2026, HUDECO Joint Stock Company visited, worked with, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Transport and Communications Ho Chi Minh City (UTH), opening up many strategic cooperation opportunities between the business and the university in the fields of training, human resource development, and enhancing practical career connections for students.
Representing HUDECO were:
Mr. Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Việt Kỳ – Chairman of the Science Council of HUDECO Joint Stock Company.
Mr. Nguyễn Minh Trung – Executive Chairman of HUDECO.
Mr. Lương Văn Hãnh – Executive Chairman of HUDECO.
Mr. Nguyễn Khắc Dũng – General Director.
Together with the Deputy General Directors and the Leadership Board of member companies.
Representing the University of Transport and Communications Ho Chi Minh City (UTH) were:
Mr. Senior Lecturer Dr. Lê Văn Vang – Vice Principal.
Ms. Associate Professor Dr. Phạm Thị Anh – Director of the Deo Ca Research and Training Institute.
Mr. Dr. Đặng Nhân Cách – Head of the Training Department.
Mr. Dr. Phạm Tiến Cường – Deputy Director of the Deo Ca Research and Training Institute, Manager of the Civil Engineering Training Program.
Together with professors who are heads of departments from various faculties and institutes.
In the spirit of companionship and sustainable development, the two sides exchanged and agreed on many key cooperation contents such as: coordinating to build training programs linked to the practical needs of the business; facilitating student visits, internships, and practical training at projects implemented by HUDECO; while enhancing cooperation in scientific research, technology transfer, and organizing professional activities for students.
In particular, HUDECO and UTH agreed to promote the "Corporate Semester" program, creating opportunities for students to directly experience the real work environment at construction sites, operational offices, and key projects. Through the program, students will access construction processes, project management, quality control, teamwork skills, and professional attitudes in a professional construction environment.
A representative of HUDECO shared at the working session: "HUDECO always sees people as the core factor for sustainable development. Collaborating with UTH not only helps the business access a high-quality young workforce but also contributes to creating conditions for students to learn, experience, and develop comprehensively before entering the profession."
At the end of the program, representatives of the two units conducted the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, marking a new step in the relationship between HUDECO and UTH. The event continues to affirm HUDECO's orientation in expanding connections with training institutions, promoting training models linked to practice, and accompanying the future engineering generation in the construction industry.
