On May 18, 2025, the Department of Geotechnics - Faculty of Civil Engineering and Petroleum Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology - Vietnam National University, collaborated with HUDECO Joint Stock Company to organize a field internship at the Celesta Heights project (Nha Be, HCMC).
The internship program aims to provide students, both domestic and international, who are studying and researching at the Faculty, with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the construction site, directly learn about modern ground treatment solutions such as:
PVD Vacuum combined with vacuum extraction
Cement-soil piles (CDM)
The internship took place in a lively, open atmosphere, accompanied by Dr. Nguyen Minh Trung – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of HUDECO and with the attentive and thorough guidance from esteemed professors from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology:

At the project site, Engineer Vo Huy Truong – Project Director, also an alumnus of the Geotechnics Department - Faculty of Civil Engineering and Petroleum Engineering, directly shared with the students about:
Technology and equipment for field construction
Specific construction methods for each item
Real challenges encountered during implementation
Technical solutions applied to effectively handle each arising situation
